Tiffany Hyde leads the Underwriting division at Lion Street, where she has overseen underwriting operations, new firm selection, vendor relations, and strategic initiatives for the past 8 years. With a career in the life insurance industry dating back to 1990—including leadership roles at Voya, US Financial, and Mutual of Omaha—she brings deep expertise in complex cases, reinsurance, premium finance, and product selection.

A former nurse, Tiffany’s medical background enhances her underwriting insight. She holds the FALU designation and teaches underwriting courses to hundreds of field staff. She is also active in industry groups such as the ALU and the American Academy of Insurance Medicine and is a frequent speaker on trends in underwriting.
